Propulsion Engineer with experience designing, building and testing solid and hybrid rocket motors with dreams of working on liquid rocket engines. Currently working as a Propulsion Test Engineer.
I'm a propulsion engineer who is passionate about space, rockets and aircraft. I have experience working with hardware from initial concept to full system testing. I feel strongly about advancing European aerospace autonomy and expertise and aim to work on projects that further this goal.
I completed my BEng in Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Limerick before doing an MSc in Thermal Power and Propulsion at Cranfield University. While in UL I cofounded the student rocketry team, ULAS HiPR and competed at Mach-24 and EUROC 24. At Cranfield I went to Race2Space 2025 as Project Manager for the CranSEDS hybrid rocket engine. I am now working at Destinus as a Propulsion Test Engineer where I get to apply what I learned in the previous 5 years.
When I'm not working I still manage to spend my time thinking about rockets and space through my roles in SGAC and EirSEDS.
Used STARCCM+ to investigate the impact of planform, chord, angle of attack and Mach number on the aerodynamic performance of a wing.
